SurfJitsu
The North Shore brand was born out of high level performance training in surfing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Nick Tiscoe has been surfing for 30 years, and is a highly regarded black belt, competing internationally in both sports.
We are blessed to be located in a beautiful part of the country, in Cornwall. Newquay is surf city UK and we have in excess of seven fantastic surfing beaches on our doorstep. SurfJitsu is the heart of our day to day life!
In addition to our locality, Nick competed and taught surfing for eighteen years, and whilst he doesn’t run his own surf school anymore, he is well connected to arrange your surfing experience.
Come back and check out our merchandise once our online shop is live.

We have confirmed dates for our next Surf x BJJ event in the Algarve, Portugal. We will be returning to the Arrifana Surf Lodge for our 2nd visit this year. Last time was a sell out with a mixture of guys and girls and a full mix of belts from white to black.
